WHO ARE BROTHER FRANCIS AND SISTER CLARE OF ASSISI?

The whole Franciscan movement began with one man who heard the call of Christ to "rebuild my Church." From that moment on, Francis created a counter-cultural revolution centered on living simply, loving all (especially the poor), and serving the Church. Other men began to follow Francis' way of life, as well as one young woman named Clare. Together, Francis and Clare and their fellow sisters and brothers created what would become the Franciscan movement we have today.
